Our story

From Alexandria, to Saudi Arabia, the Gulf and the world.

Islam Mohamed and Mariam Ahmed Mostafa founded Dimensions Group in Alexandria in 2013, and it is registered in Egypt still. From Alexandria we serve businesses in Saudi Arabia, the Gulf and worldwide.

We work across fields that look far apart: business and healthcare systems, web and mobile apps, games, cybersecurity and AI. One thing joins them for us: engineering before code.

Out of that work came MedOne, our complete system for clinics and medical centres.

Islam Mohamed

Co-founder, CEO and CTO

Islam Mohamed leads Dimensions Group with more than twenty years of experience in software engineering, game development and project management. As co-founder, CEO and CTO, he has led the development of games at every level up to AAA, and of advanced platforms bringing together AI, augmented reality and the metaverse — from the first idea to launch.

He specialises in Unity 3D and Unreal Engine, and in leading multidisciplinary teams that turn complex interactive experiences into products that work in the real world. He holds computer science certificates from Stanford University and a professional certificate in project management from Google, and is a technical expert at Nawah Academy, where he leads its architectural strategy so that its students can master the technologies of the future.

Mariam Ahmed Mostafa

Mariam Ahmed Mostafa

Co-founder, Director of Development & Engineering Leadership

Mariam Ahmed Mostafa leads development and engineering at Dimensions Group, with more than twenty years of experience in software engineering and backend infrastructure. She has led multidisciplinary technical teams at major technology companies including DXC Technology, DigiVisions-STC and ISFP, and specialises in enterprise-scale microservices, Agile project delivery and building robust systems that hold up as they grow.

She holds a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Alexandria University. Driven by a passion for empowering the next generation, she founded Nawah Academy to close the gap between consuming technology and creating it.
